Now, for as thankful as we are to receive gifts from others, it is equally important to give back as much as possible. This year, try to make an effort to donate ANYTHING, be it time, gifts, food, or even clothing. Most shopping centers or stores have bins to donate items that are always in need.
FEEDING AMERICA is always accepting cash donations to be given to those in need and the holidays are when food is needed the most.
TOYS FOR TOTS also always accepts monetary donations. They also offer the ability to request a gift for a needy child or where to donate your own. This year, my children are in charge of selecting a toy to donate.
Do some research in your area to see if volunteers are needed or where donation sites are. If is never too early to make a difference!
